WHY won't my iPhone 4S turn off? - 2
My iPhone 4S won't turn off, when I slide power off it turns off for a couple of seconds and then it turns itself back on any ideas how to solve this problem I have reset it, synced it restored it etc. Also my battery drains really quickly.
This is not the most convenient of solutions, but it worked for me:
You need to drain the battery, as in just let your phone battery die and then leave it there for about a few days before charging again. It sounds like your phone needs a bit of a rest.
I never shut mine off ever, just flip the switch to make it silent at night. It doesn't lose any power when going dormant, so no reason to even shut it off.
