Why won't my iphone 5 make alert noises?
A week ago I got a new iPhone 5.It's unlocked, and was brand new before I got it. Everything works perfectly fine: apps, phone, internet, except alert noises. I went to settings and turned it on in "sounds" several times, but it still doesn't alert me for texts, facebook messages, or anything else. Even when I get a phone call, all it does is vibrate. No ring. It's annoying because if I don't feel/hear it vibrate, I never know if I get a message or text or call. Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried turning off Bluetooth, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I've also shut it down and turned it back on. When I go to settings to select a alert, it plays the demo for me, but whenever I need it to work it doesn't come on. Any advice? Oh also, I have mute turned off.
First: See if "Do Not Disturb" is on
Second: Go into each one under Settings>Notifications>App and check if the sound is on
- Why won't my Iphone alert me when i get a text? My phone, iphone 4s, always used to show me a banner whenever i get a text. It just randomly stopped. I checked in notifications about a million times and its set to show me a banner. I haven't dropped it or done anything that would have broken my phone. I would just really like to know how to fix this without taking it to an apple store.

- Why does my PC make clicking/popping noises? It's not the speakers themselves, as it happens with headphones too. It seems like when the PC is heavily taxed, any audio playback will sometimes contain sporadic pop noises. It happens from a midi playback program, from iTunes, from Youtube videos - anything. I definitely notice an increase while I'm recording something. What can I do?
