Why won't my iphone connect to my home Wi-Fi?
I have an iphone 4 and whenever i try to connect it to my home Wi-Fi it says 'unable to join network'. On my parents' iphone the Wi-Fi works fine. I also have the same problem with my laptop. I can go to another Wi-Fi hotspot and it will work fine but with my laptop and my phone it never works. I've tried restarting my phone and the router already. How can i fix this?
Go to settings--> general--> network. Then you should see your home network pop up under the Wi-Fi tab.click on it and enter your network password. If it doesn't work, you may have the wrong password.
EDIT- also your signal may be too weak, try getting close to the router.
If both your laptop and iPhone can't connect it sounds like you are inadvertently typing in the incorrect password/code. Double check your typing.
