Why won't my iPhone let me turn my volume down?
I have an iPhone 5 and when I want to turn my volume down it won't let me. The ringer icon doesn't even show up when I press the volume down button, but it does show up when I press volume up. All the noises and everything on my phone still works but its stuck on high volume and I can't turn it down. This promblem started yesterday
Hmm… This may or may not work, but have you tried restarting the phone? Sometimes the 5 gets quirky. I know mine has been since I got it in November.
If that doesn't work, I would say talk to apple. They can give you the best advice than anyone else, and they may give you the option for an exchange. (Not sure if you have insurance or how old the phone is)
IF you have to exchange it, and it is jailbroken, remove the jailbreak and restore to factory settings before sending it in. Jailbreaking an iDevice voids it's warranty.
