Why won't my iPhone play music through my car?
I have a 2011 hyundai genesis and there's a USB port. I have tried two different cords and four different iPhones and all of them had the same result. The iPhone says trust this computer then goes away faster then I can press anything. After doing this multiple times, the screen on the car will say reading error. Any idea why this is happening?
Simple you have the wrong cable, you can't use just any USB cable in a Hyundai radio,
you need the original cable

- What are those things that let you play music through the radio in your car? I got my sisters old car and it's older so it doesn't have a way for an iPhone to connect to it. She used to have this thing that you could put into the cigarette lighter (or the little power thing) and you could connect your iPhone to it and the songs would play over the radio but it broke so I want to buy a new one and I don't know what they're called.

I have an audio cable and I was wondering if attaching a USB head to one end and having the audio on the other end then plugging that into the cigarette lighter with one of those adapters would play music through my stereo?
- JVC car receiver won't play iphone music through usb? I bought a jvc detachable face receiver for my truck and it will not play any of my music. It shows the track, the album artwork and the duration but it WLL NOT make a sound. Is there something i need to change on the settings? ( I have an iphone 5 but I've tried it with an iphone 4 and an iPod)
- Iphone won't play music through car stereo anymore? When I used to plug my iphone into the USB port in my car stereo, i could play my music through it. All of the sudden, it stopped working. The song title will scroll on the screen like its playing but no sound will come out. I made sure that the volume was all the way on and its not the cord because when i play Pandora, it works, just not my music. It won't even work if i try using the old headphone jack cord that i used to use.
