Why won't my Iphone show IOS 7 update?

I have iPhone 4S and when I go to software update it say I'm up to date but I know for a fact that its not ios 7
And my friend has same phone and already has the update.
What can I do I don't have a computer with iTunes
Should I just wait?

And try again

I don't know maybe you jailbreak it or what. Try to restart it. If not try search the release date in your country.

  • Why won't my iphone update to ios 5.1? My phone doesn't seem to have an option under "settings" to update. Is there another way to do this? I have an iphone 4. The current version is 4.2.8 (8E401). My iTunes account is 10.1.1.4 I have never updated my phone before, but now some apps say I have to before I install them. someone told me to go to "setting", "general", "Update software" - but I don't have an "update software" under settings.
