Why won't my iPhone sync music from my computer?
Every time I plug my iPhone in to sync it only adds songs purchased from iTunes to my phone. I have a lot of old music from CD's and whatnot that I'd really like on my phone. There's plenty of room on my phone, and I've configured the syncing to only add checked songs, but it still only has purchased music. Any advice? Should I turn my iCloud off?
Try changing the option from only add checked songs to manually managing your songs. This will allow you to add any song that is in your library to your iPhone by dragging it to your devices picture. So it won't add songs automatically. You add them yourself. Your cds should be uploaded in your library to do this. Hope this helps

- Why won't my music sync to my iphone 4S? I just restored my iphone 4S and everything synced perfectly fine, contacts, mail, apps, everything except music. I tried re-syncing, making sure I had checked each song in my music library, checked "sync music" on my phone settings on itunes, manually checking the music I want under "selected playlists" and what not. I have absolutely no idea what to do now.
