Why won't my twitter notifications pop up on my iPhone?

I restarted my phone about a month ago due to my phone having some problems. After i restarted my phone, I got the twitter app and turned on the notifications even the twitter badge icon. Ever since then, it still hasn't worked. My Facebook and Instagram notifications work but not Twitter. I have iOS 6.1.3 and before I restarted my iPhone, it worked.

You may need to check settings inside twitter, not just in the iphone settings

Make sure your notifications are turned on, if they are try uninstall and re-install again.

  • Why don't twitter notifications work on my iPhone? No twitter app's push notifications work on my iPhone 5. I've tried the regular twitter app, echofon and tweetbot. All my notification options have been on in the settings of the iPhone and in each app. I've used each app singly, deleting the previous one every time I tried a new app. I've restarted the phone, reinstalled the twitter apps but nothing has worked. Been driving me crazy! My other push notifications work from other other apps except twitter.

  • Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
  • Twitter notifications on IPhone 5? I set notifications on my iPhone 5 for twitter but when I get one it doesn't show it on the app. Specifically it doesn't show like the 1 or however many notifications I have on the app. It's call badge app icon. It shows it sometimes but why doesn't it show it all the time when I get a notification?
