Why won't my Wi-Fi work after rebooting it

This has happened before but rebooting it has always worked. I have the Wi-Fi signal there but it doesn't load anything. On my tablet it saids "Connected but no internet" I have rebooted my Wi-Fi all day and NOTHING! I'm not good with tech stuff. So i don't know what is wrong with it. It was FINE yesterday and this morning then all the sudden it just stopped working

All I have is my IPhone and Tablet and NO computer btw. So I can't do anything computer wise and I don't know anyone that will come over with a computer to even help me

I'm awful at tech things but I really need the Wi-Fi For school things. Do I just keep waiting it out? I'm frustrated

Have you tried turning the router off for 10 seconds and then plugging it in again?

If neither the iPhone or the tablet can connect then there's a problem with the router or the signal coming into building. Turning the router off then on again was the correct thing to do. The next step is to contact the ISP (Verizon, AT&T etc) and inform them of the fault, or they may have a fault reporting section on their website. You can still use your Mobile data to access their website

Reboot the modem instead, and maybe call your ISP to have them test the incoming connection

  • Wi-Fi won't won't work on iPhone 4s after ios6 update I have tried resetting my network settings that didn't work then proceeded to reset all my settings but yet it still didn't work.
