Why won't our iPhones FaceTime?
I just started working offshore two days ago, I have never really used FaceTime, but my girlfriend went and bought an iPhone so she can FaceTime me and when we try it just says "connecting" forever. I need help

When you are off shore, do you have cell service, or Wi-Fi access with your phone? And you both have registered FaceTime and are signed in, correct?
Did you ensure both phones had their FaceTime set up properly prior?
- Why won't my iphone connect to our home Wi-Fi? Other devices and even my mac can connect to our home Wi-Fi just fine. Seems like everything but my iphone 5 just won't connect. After i press the network, it selects and does the check icon for a split second and disconnects again. Doesn't even allow me to enter the password first.
- Why won't FaceTime/iMessage work? So I have an iPhone 4 and my Facetime and iMessage isn't working! I try to sign in and it says it couldn't sign in. I also just got the latest update- IOS 6 I think? Can you please help me!
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why are iPhones so important in our society? What's so great about them? I don't get it. Every time i turn on the TV, there's some segment about the NEW IPHONE… Big whoop, it's just a freaking phone, for crying out loud. You make calls with it, you can go online with it, you can take still pics, and you can record video. Wow, no other phone in the world can do that. How revolutionary. Boy, iPhones are amazing
