Why won't my iphone hook up to my computer?
Can anyone help.
i really wqant to upload pics from my iphone to my computer but it woint let me. I plug my iphone 4 into my hp laptop and nothing happens. I've tried countless cords and even a different iphone but my computer won't recognize that my iphone is plugged in and won't let me upload pics from my phone to my laptop. No matter what i do it won't work.
While you can use google to upload/backup pictures if it is directly to you computer you need to follow these steps.
1. Press Start Button
2. Press Control Panel
3. Press Hardware and Sound
4. Press Device Manager
5. Look for a Exclamation Point on any device preferable Universal Serial Bus Controllers and see if it has an error.
6. If TRUE, Then click on it and it should open a drop down window for all Universal Serial Bus components. Then, Click the errored device a property window should appear, Click Driver disable and then enable. Try plugging your phone in again.

7. If FALSE, Then you may have a faulty port and there will be nothing I can advise.
I found this solution to work. Try this first:
a) Get Windows to restart the drivers:
- disconnect your USB device and close ITunes
- connect your USB device
- if ITunes loads, close it.
b) File explorer:
Open File explorer and browse to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
In that folder there should be a set of files named "usbaapl64…"
right click on the one ending in "INF"
Select Install. It's very quick.
remove the USB device
c) Restart the computer.
When you login again, load ITunes before you attach your USB device.
d) If still not works, try re-install iTunes. Go into the Unstall Programs (in Control Panel) and uninstall everything that says Apple, and uninstall Bonjour. With the fresh install of iTunes, everything came back and is should work. Hope it helps.

- Why won't my iphone 4 hook up to my jvc kw-nx 7000? I have an in dash JVC kw-nx 7000 head unit… It hooks up to my usb flash drive and ipod touch plays from that but for some reason it will NOT hook up to my iphone 4… I do not like playing music from a flash drive because it takes too long to load and the quality isn't too great but i can deal with it so will someone please help me figure out what i need or what is going on… Thanks!
- My iPhone won't charge no matter what i hook it up to So when i plug it into my home to charge, it does for a second then either just stops or has a plug sign inside the battery. When i plug it into the computer it says that the USB was drawing to much power and was disabled. It said that on both of the computers i plugged it into and with both of the USB's i tried. - I want to hook my iphone to a second computer? I used to have a laptop of which contained my ITunes library and I was able to sync my library music to my Iphone (4) and everything was happy. However, that computer is now totally broke and no way could I even turn it on again for one its to slow and secondly the chemicals in the battery have exploded anyway I now have a new laptop.
