Wich is better, a Smartphone IPhone or Android?

I'm completely clueless when it comes to phones…

Android.

Here's my view on it:
with iPhones, you get what the almighty Tim Cook envisions is good. They are a one size fits all solution. If you get an iPhone, you get what you get, there's very little you can do to change it.

However, when you buy an android phone, you have to research it. And if you buy one (win!) and find something you don't like about it, you can change it. Hey, I don't like the keyboard that came on here. You can download a different one from Google Play (the android app store) and use it. You can change your lock screen and your homescreen, as well as default applications such as browsers, SMS apps, photo editors, and so on. If you have a problem with your device, you can head on over the the trusty XDA forums (xda-developres.com) and go to your device specific forums and look for a solution to your problem. If you can't find one, you can make a thread and somebody there will help you.

Bottom line: When you buy an Android, you get your phone. When you buy an iPhone, you get Tim Cook's phone that you get to use.

I just want to get this straight a smartphone is a phone that has internet on it. An iPhone is an Apple phone and an Android is a phone that even when you buy a brand new 2014 Android you'll get an operating system from four or so years ago.

Only a few years ago I had a PC and a Samsung Galaxy S1 and let me tell you those were definitely the worst years of my life as far as technology. My Dell computer (from around 2011 that cost $1,200) got viruses every month, was the slowest thing I've ever used, and had the worst operating system you could ever wish for. On top of that, I didn't even have a phone to use because it was even worse which I didn't think could be possible. I was so sick and tired of anything that ran Windows or was an Android.

When my contract was finally up to get a new phone everyone had iPhones so I decided to try one (totally different operating system) and I absolutely loved it! It costs $200 and it was 3x better than my $1,200 Dell computer! The tech specs on the iPhone 5s are worse than the Samsung Galaxy S4 (popular Android) but don't let that trick you because I don't know what Apple does differently but whatever it is they do it right because it's still better than the S4. So I defiantly recommend getting the newest iPhone (iPhone 5s) for $200 from T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, or US Cellular. Or you can get the iPhone 4S (released October 2011) for free!

Here is a link to the iPhone 5s on Apple's website:

If you decide this is the phone that you want press the blue "Buy Now" button and order it. If you decide to go with the free iPhone 4s then go to this link:

Hopefully I answered your questions, if you have any more just comment on this and I'll try and answer back!

When you buy an Android

  • Wich photo editing app is it? What's the photo editing app (or similar) to make a photo like in shown photo. I really like that retro or old school thingy, but i can't find the right one. Maybe someone could help me. I would be really gratefull. BTW i'm on iPhone 5s so i need app on this phone.
  • Wich Iphone 4 case has most pertection? I'm going to buy the Iphone 4 tmr. It's going to be white. I would like to get a case just for fun. I would also like to get a pertectable case for when I drop it. Any ideas for both?
  • Should I get an android or iphone smartphone? I'm considering whether or not to get a smartphone. I've never had one before and now that I can afford it, I'd like to own one. Which one do you think I should go with an android phone or an iphone?
  • Should I buy an iPhone over an Android-Smartphone? What really attracts me to android devices is the HD large screen, features such as DLNA (for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to a compatible TV or computer -like in HTC devices-) and lastly, more storage as per price. please share.
