Wi-Fi Connected - but no internet on devices connected?

Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.

Try restarting the pc; remove the internet cable and then put it back in and set the connection up again.

This seems alittle fuzzy to me… You should update with alot mroe detailed information.
You added a Wireless Router? Was your computer the only one hooked up before… Is the desktop hard lined into the router? And all wireless devices are not getting internet?

please be as descriptive as possible. And we can accurately give you a correct answer to your issue.
I understand your main desktop works online but what about every other device? Iphone etc?
Please give full details and we promis to help you solve your problem.
List if you have a modem… If you have a wireless router… And what's plugged in and what's Wi-Fi.

EDIT: also how is everything hooked up? Is the desktop plugged into the wireless router or modem? Which wires are going from what to where.

  • Router gives PC Internet, but none of the other devices? I have a Belkin n300 Wi-Fi router. My PC has Internet access, but whenever I try to access it on another device (such as my iPhone), my network shows up but will not connect. I'll type in my password, but all it does is buffer. It also won't connect to my Xbox. Is there a way to fix this?

  • My iPhone 5 says it's not connected to the internet, but it is? It won't let me check weather, go on Safari, and Siri won't respond at all. Everytime I load one of those, it always says the same message. I got it almost a month ago, and I would hate to take it to the Apple/Verizon store to get it checked out. I already turned it off and back on for a few minutes, still didn't work. But the thing is, it IS connected to the internet!
