I need a straight answer here. I'm upgrading from a 5S on an Att plan. They will not sell me a phone. They want me to buy a contract plan. Can I buy a phone from apple and will it work if the sim is put in and if it's unlocked!
Yes you can do that. Just be aware that you will be outright paying for the entire phone from Apple ($749+tax for base model). Make sure you choose the "Unlocked and SIM-Free" version.
