Will a phone company allow me to get an iPhone with no credit? But a parent to sign off on it
I'm 18 and I want to get my own phone line on my own account. I do not have a credit score. Will Sprint allow me to get an iPhone without a credit score? Will they allow it if my mom signs off on it?
If you have no credit and you want to sign up for it in your own name, they're still going to run a credit check. On you. If it's YOUR account, then your mother isn't signing off on anything. Only way she'd be doing that is if the account was set up under her name.
More like than not with no credit history you'll be asked for a deposit on both the line itself (probably $150), and on the device (usually about $300-500 on no credit history). The deposit on the phone goes towards the cost of the device (so it actually lowers your monthly installment billing). So long as you put down the deposits and keep the account in good standing (pay your bills!) you'll start getting decent credit results. Any sort of recurring bill cycle that you keep in good standing is good for your credit score.

- What is the lowest credit score sasktel will allow to buy an iphone? I want to buy an iPhone but my credit score is at 600 or below. And i really need a good phone but i know they do credit checks and sometimes don't allow you to have a contract if your credit score is too low and i was wondering what was the lowest and if that is too low.
- Skype sign in via facebook clashes with iphone app sign in? I have signed into a skype account via my facebook login details (on a PC). I now have downloaded the app on my iPhone, but can't sign into the app with this facebook details like i do on the PC Any help, since i have added contacts to this (fb) skype and would like to use this on my mobile device also
- For a parent to search through a 14yo's phone? Recently my mum started searching through my phone again, she used to do this when I was 10 and got my first IPhone. Honestly have no clue why but she decided to start looking again. She makes me leave it out on the counter and looks through my photos, messages, snapchats, instagram feed, browser history. I don't have much to hide, so i don't know why she does this.
- Can I sign up for an at&t contract if i don't have any credit? I'm 23 and have very little credit. I purchased two new cars since i was 18 and was always a cosigner since mom had to put it in her name due to me working odd jobs through college. Besides that, no real credit. I want to buy the new iphone 5, but am worried if i stand there all night, I might be denied. Can they do that? I currently make $2500/month as a sub teacher. I have 10k in savings. Worst case scenerio, will they just make me put a big down payment? Would they deny me?
