Will an iphone 4 or 4s work on tmobile?
I want to get a iphone but can't afford the 5, if I get a 4 or 4s which will should I get? Will everything work on them? Will they run 2g, 3g, or 4g. Is it worth getting?
Between the 4 & 4S, of course the 4S.
Yes everything will work except 3G (possibly). T-Mobile does not/did not use the same frequencies for them as the iPhone supported though they are changing that slowly but surely, more so since they are now also an official iPhone carrier. Neither of those iPhones run 4G.
Also make note that the 5S & 5C are expected soon, so you may want to wait & see what they are like or how they would affect the prices of the 4 & 4S.
- Will an unlocked iphone 5 work on tmobile, how? I'm looking into getting an iphone5 this year and don't want to pay 80$ every month on an att/verzion/sprint plan. Would i be able to get an unlokced iphone 5 an get a tmobile sim? Also… Do all the plans tmobile have work for the iphone5? Or are there specific expensive ones that only work for the iphone5.
- Will an unlocked iphone 4S work for tmobile if it isn't factory unlocked? I want to get an iPhone 4S and my friend has the iPhone 4 unlocked but i'm worried that if i get it non-factory unlocked it won't work. My uncle tried to do it a couple of months ago and apple said that if it was factory unlocked every time the phone shut off or died it would reset. I was just wondering if the same thing would happen if it wasn't factory unlocked? So if I get it unlocked everytime it will shut off it will reset? That is what i'm worried about.
- Will a sim card from tmobile work in a Virgin Mobile iphone 4s? The virgin mobile iphone 4s has a sim card slot, so if i put a tmobile sim will it work? If the iphone isn't activated with a virgin mobile. Or if i buy a iphone 4s from the apple website without any service will it work with virgin mobile?
- What do i have to do to make my iphone work for tmobile? So my friend gave me his iphone 3gs for atat and i want to use it for tmobile. I want to unlock it at atat and do i need his account number or anything. What else do i have to do to make it work
