Will an IPhone 5s melt in fire completley?
I was sleeping over my friends house and we had a fire. At some point I lost my phone, either inside or outside. The next day we found my case in a fire we had the night before. It was a rubber case and it was pretty burn. I thought that I must have somehow dropped it in the fire but we looked and there was absolutely NO trace of an Iphone in there. I would think that since a lot of the IPhone 5 is made of metal, then I would find some of the remains of the phone. I'm hoping I took the case off and lost the phone and have it hopefully turn up. Or it completely dissintigrated to ash.
In a "normal" house fire, there would be some components of the phone intact, even though most would either melt or burn. The trouble is actually recognizing those parts in the other debris. If your phone was in the case, the remnants of the device would be in the same general area.
A house fire is just not hot enough to turn a phone and it's components into ash.

I wouldnt care except that when it startedback up, everthing on the homescreen was gone, although if I double tapped my home button my apps were still open in the backround. Please Help ME. - I dropped my iPhone in the fire? I was at a small fire with friend and I had my phone on a chair and the chair knocked over and my phone ended up in the fire! I got it out in about 30 seconds. My screen is yellow on the sides with black spots. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
