Will an iphone show notifications when it's in lost mode?
I lost my phone, and I'm wondering if someone who found my phone would be able to see the facebook messages/text messages people send me while I don't have it. What does an iphone in lost mode look like? Thanks!
Added (1). I have it set on my phone to display the text/facebook message on the screen without being unlocked.
Ok so usually when you put it in lost mode from icloud.com it will prompt you to make a pin to unlock your phone. I don't believe a person who found the phone can see the notifications. BTW i suggest you go to were you lost it and have it play a sound and make it prompt your info (via the website) so someone knows were to contact you when they find it.
See around 4:00 to check what Lost Mode looks like. Sadly, your notifications will most likely still show up on on the lock screen. Of course if you have a passcode on it, all they will get is the previews and not be able to open/enter/reply to them. Hopy you get it back. Best luck.
- Why does my Facebook app for iPhone show an incorrect number of notifications on the home screen? On my Facebook app for iPhone, on the home screen, the red number next to the app icon showing how many notifications I have shows an incorrect number. For example it showed 56 when I actually only had 1 notification. I rebooted my iPhone and removed and reinstalled the FB app and neither thing fixed it.
- Lost iPhone 5s, Is sprint aware if your iPhone is in Lost Mode? I lost my iPhone 5s today. I enabled the lost mode in the phone and I'm currently tracking it. Does sprint know when a iPhone is in lost mode? Does it know if you lost your iPhone and your tracking it?
- Iphone won't show all the albums under an artist and won't show one artist at all? When I go to artists on my music on iphone it doesn't show all the albums under an artist, also an artist isn't even showing up there. When I go to songs and albums I can see everything, just confused and would like to fix it so it shows under album.
- IPhone won't always show notifications from Hangouts? Asking for a friend -- he has an iPhone and has occasionally told me that he doesn't always receive notifications of texts from Hangouts from me. Sometimes rebooting the phone fixes it, but only for a while (and it's annoying to keep restarting the phone). Just wondering if there's another/easier way to fix this issue?
