Will Apple charge me for my broken screen?
I purchased my iPhone 6 plus, on March 17, 2015. I know that Apple has a one year free warranty, however, I was wondering if I would be charged. What applies in the warranty, and if I will be charged, how much do you think it would be?
Warranty covers a problem with the phone, not negligence on your part because you can't take care of it. Unless you paid for a specific warranty that covered issues like you dropping it, then its not part of their warranty.
If the damage was through your fault, then yes it would be charged for. Not sure of the cost.
- Will apple repair a broken screen on my iPhone 4S? Not for free of course because apple doesn't do anything for free, but will it be like the 30 dollars of the back cover or will it be an obscene price like $200 or something like that?
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
- Iphone has white screen black apple logo frozen it occasionally goes black then that screen shows up again screen went red once? I held the home and power buttons and it showed me that the battery was super low with the little red lines hasn't shown me that since now it's just frozen on black apple logo with white background and the screen flickers occasionally i've had it plugged into the wall charging for 2 hours now and still nothing should I go get it looked at by apple or do I just leave it charging longer?
- If I Color swap my front screen on my iPhone 4 will it fix my broken screen too? I just got an iPhone 4 and my friend dropped it and the front is cracked/shattered and someone told me if i color swap my iPhone front glass then it fixes the cracked screen does it work? Or will i have to get it repaired?
