Will apple check my broken iPhone if I try to return it?
My last shred of hope. My dad is getting knee surgery so I don't want him to be paying for anything. I can use my old phone.
My iPhone 3gs got water damaged. I know that it has water sensors but, if i return it in the box with all the other stuff, will they check? It's not totally broken, when you plug it in to charge it just flashes the charge me sign and doesn't charge. At least it is showing signs of life though…

- When I return my iphone 4 to the apple store do they go through the messages? A few days ago the sleep/wake button on my iphone 4 has been stuck and really hard to push down I was wondering if when you turn in the phone do they wipe everything off of your phone? And do they go through messages and stuff? I'm just wondering I've got nothing to hide and I'm a good kid. So just wondering and also the new phone they give you is it refurbished or a completely brand new one thanks for all of the answers in advance, Tanner
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.

Will they take it? I know I'm going to have to buy another phone(I'll just use my old one actually).So will they just take it? Will I get any money back for returning it? Or would the difference between me keeping my broken iPhone and returning it be me being one broken iphone less?
- Is it possible to return an iPhone to the Apple Store where you bought it after it has been used? I bought an iPhone to an Apple Store and I used it for about a week but I'm not satisfied. Would the Apple Store accept the iPhone back?
