Will apple fix my iPhone 6s screen for free?
Recently my iPhone 6s was stolen from my bag at work and I managed to find it myself using find my iPhone but half the screen was cracked, including the front facing camera. I would like to get it fixed at apple instead of another cheaper place as it could still be under warranty but it is very expensive to get it fixed at apple so if I told them how it was stolen would they do it for free?
No they won't do it for free as it's not a manufacturing defect. If you had it insurer against theft and damage you would have been able to claim. If you know who stole it report it to the police and sue the miscreant in the small claims court.
No, I do t think they'll fix it for free. This would fall under "negligence".
Maybe if you had insurance on it, the insurer would reimburse you or pay for it to be fixed.
Well, you have to ask an Apple consultant. How can you prove it was stolen? It is not Apple's fault that your screen's been crAcked. It is the thief's fault and he/she should go to the expense of it. Apple however should fix your screen if e.g. The device got so hot that it made the glass crack. Hope it helps
NO I doubt they will but you should have or should claim on your insurance or household insurance.
Items that are that expensive should be insured for any event that may happen and cost you out of pocket expenses.
Physical damage of any kind is not covered by their standard warranty. If you have AppleCare+, they will repair up to two claims of accidental damage for a service fee of about $79 per claim if I recall.
Saying it was stolen doesn't make any difference, otherwise everyone would just make up some story to get their phone fixed for free.

No. The damage was not due to a defect in manufacture. Get your mommy or daddy to explain it to you.

Read your warranty, but I doubt it. If it was stolen at work, you should file a police report. If you bought a protection plan from Apple, that would have covered it.

- Iphone has white screen black apple logo frozen it occasionally goes black then that screen shows up again screen went red once? I held the home and power buttons and it showed me that the battery was super low with the little red lines hasn't shown me that since now it's just frozen on black apple logo with white background and the screen flickers occasionally i've had it plugged into the wall charging for 2 hours now and still nothing should I go get it looked at by apple or do I just leave it charging longer?
