Will Apple or Sprint charge me?

I have a question. So my iphone won't charge now and i took it to the Sprint store where I purchased it. They told me i could get one for free because I have insurance in it. So here I'm waiting for Sprint to call me to trade my non-working phone. The only problem is my phone is jailbroken but I didn't tell them. Will Apple (or Sprint) find out and charge me? The guys at Sprint already told me my new iPhone is coming in for free. Apple can obviously track my old phone down that I was the owner… But can they charge me? They will have to end up restoring it (because my information is still on there) taking the jailbreak off and they will never know right?

Just backup the phone and do a factory reset and your jailbreak will be gone. When you get the new phone, Restore from that backup on iTunes. No need to worry about charges. And you have insurance so if you give them a water damaged non-working phone, they'll still honor the insurance and get you a replacement.
