Will Apple replace/fix my screen if it makes popping noise?
I've had my iPhone 6 for over a year now and ever since I got it I've had a problem with the corners popping out and when I push on it it makes a "click" sound. I never paid attention to it until recently and it does this on all sides of the screen and it's loose and I feel that soon the screen will hair come off. (Also my screen is EXTREMELY scratched all over and I don't drop it often at all) I made an appointment to visit the Apple Store tomorrow. Would they replace my screen?
In short, Yeah, they should. To be it sounds like a bend.
I bought my 6+ when it came out, or maybe a month after, it was in November of last year. Anyways, I heard reports of phones bending but i only saw pictures of bad bends so i didn't think that would happen to mine. Around the beginning of October my phone completely broke, the screen was already cracked and now the touch wasn't even responding. I took it to the apple store ready to drop 150$ on a new screen, and they told me it'll be fixed for free, so i was pretty happy. Just make sure its under the 1 year factory warranty.
They don't repair self inflicted damages… So I believe they may make you pay for it
They'll probably replace your screen, but because of the age and condition it's in, you can expect to pay the full price for it.
If anything is wrong with a newly bought device, take it in immediately. Only then will they replace it for free.
You had the first two weeks to take it back for any reason. You had a warranty for a year to cover any problems in the manufacturing process. You did nothing about it during all that time. They may take pity on you or may charge you for a fix particularly after they see the abuse it has suffered.
They are Apple. They make money by getting you to spend your money on new devices. They will expect you to buy something new!
Yes they would fix it. You'd have to pay of course though since it is out the warranty period.
If your phone is within the warranty definitely they will. If it is not covered under the warranty they will charge you to fix the problem
- Why is my iPhone screen popping from the opposite side of the battery? So I noticed today a slight pop on my screen, a slight curve upwards when I saw that the top right side didn't fit my case. My IPhone5s has the power button on top of the curve I'm Talking about and the sound buttons on its left. That's where the battery is supposed to be too so I don't think it's caused by a swollen battery, any clue on what it could be and if it's dangerous?
- Why is it that every time i lightly tap my iPhones power button it makes a rattle noise? I have an iPhone 5s and i don't know why its making a noise when i gently tap the power button. (Tapping it not pressing it) I've had the screen replaced twice and Maybe that's why? But i also had a very tight case on it maybe making it loose. But i was wondering if i should take it to the carrier store and get it fixed or get a new phone (i have insurance on it). Is it normal for it to be loose?
- Why does my iPhone 5 makes a swish/swoosh noise? Why does my iPhone 5 make a swish or swoosh noise when I'm using it? I have all of the alerts, notifications, and sounds turned off. And I turned my ringer all the way down. I check my email, messages, and notification page, but can't find where it's coming from. Isn't there a way to make it completely silent?
- What causes the rattling noise in the new iPhone 5 and is it bad it makes this noise? Near the proximity sensor when i shake the phone back and forth something inside rattles and it is beginning to concern me.
