Will FaceTime work internationally?
My sister's boyfriend was deported like a year ago and she wants to send him and iPod or iPhone so he can FaceTime with her an their daughter.
ISome people said it would work but it's pretty far(he lives in Costa Rica). I know he has Internet connection but Skype didn't work when we tried.
It works fine, on Christmas Eve we FaceTimed my aunt in Australia from the UK.
Yes you just need to be registered on iMessage with an email or iphone phn number and an active Internet connection.
- Why won't FaceTime/iMessage work? So I have an iPhone 4 and my Facetime and iMessage isn't working! I try to sign in and it says it couldn't sign in. I also just got the latest update- IOS 6 I think? Can you please help me!
- Why doesn't my FaceTime work on my iPhone 4S? I have an iPhone 4S, and my boyfriend has my iPod 4th gen. We've FaceTimed before, but we usually have a problem where neither of us will receive the calls we send to each other. I'll call him, and it will tell me it's ringing, but he never gets the call. It's the same when he tries to call me. Very rarely will we get this to work. I'm using Wi-Fi, and so is he. What could be causing this problem, and what can I do to stop it from doing this?
- Why doesn't FaceTime work with new IOS7? I got the update earlier for my iPhone5, and just now updated my backup iPhone4. Now, FaceTime won't work on the 5, and it just tells me to check my internet connection even after restarting both phones, and singing out of iTunes on the 4. I tried it like 20 times. Do I have to wipe my iPhone 5 and go through the setup crap again to make it the designated phone? Cus if it gets screwed up somehow, I won't be able to use FaceTime on the 4…
- My iMessage and Facetime will not work? I reset my iphone and my imessage and facetime says "waiting for activation" and I have turned my phone off and on, but it still says "waiting for activation" please help!
