Will focusing my iphone camera on fluorescent light bulbs spoil my iphone camera lens?
Will focusing my iphone camera on fluorescent light bulbs spoil my iphone camera lens?
No.
You'll just get an ugly picture.
Definitely not the lens. And it is highly unlikely that it will do anything to the sensor. In general, you do not want to aim your camera at any bright light. For instance, the sun will likely do damage to the sensor.
It won't damage anything. But check to see if your camera has a White Balance mode. If it does, set it to "Fluorescent" and you will get much better photos.
No, but you'll probably get better photos than generally end up on flikr - there hasn't been a light-bulb fad yet.
Most likely not. It's not very practical to focus it on light bulbs in the first place, so as long as you don't do it frequently, everything should stay the same.

- My IPhone 5 camera isn't focusing? So early I dropped my phone, and everything seemed fine. After a while, I went to take a picture using the rear camera, and heard this faint buzzing sound coming from the inside of my phone. When I tried to take a picture, it would be blurry and would not focus. I rebooted my phone, updated the software but it would still be blurry.
- IPhone fish eye camera lens? I just ordered this fish eye lens for my iPhone 4 and I'm trying to assemble it. It has magnets and it says to glue one magnet into my phone but there's no glue or sticker to do so. This is getting really frustrating and I need help on how to assemble it. I can't find ANY websites that know what they're talking about.
- IPhone 5; purple dots on exterior camera lens? I have purple dots on all my pictures I take with my rear facing camera I guess it's a lens hardware issue. Then I have problems with my sleep button, it doesn't work half the time. My nearest apple store is a hour away in Detroit. I bought the phone from Verizon in October. What can I do?
