Will having a screen protector keep my iphone 4s from shattering?

Will having a screen protector keep my iphone 4s from shattering?

No! My first iPhone 4S Broke with the screen protector on. The screen was shattered. The back had a protector as well and cracked a little bit. Whoever says yes obviously never owned one…

Nope, but it will keep it from being scratched to hell. Only you taking care of it and not droping it will prevent it from being shattered.

  • What's the best way to prevent my iphone screen from shattering? I just received my first iphone. And guess what i accidentally dropped it 3 days later on some tile floor. Its in an otterbox with an invisashield screen protector and everything, but the screen still shattered. What can I do in the future that will protect my screen better! Yes I know not dropping it would be a good start.
  • What's a good, slim case to prevent iPhone 5 screen from shattering? I was wondering what a good case for the iPhone 5 would be if my primary objectives are to prevent my screen from shattering (for a third time) and maintaining the phone's slimness. I was thinking the Incipio Atlas. Will that do the trick? What other cases are good that meet my criteria?
  • What is the best iphone screen protectors to keep phone from cracking/shattering? I'm making the switch to an iphone 5 soon, and I'm wondering what the best type of screen protector is. I'm accident prone, and drop my phone quite often. I'm not interested in an Otterbox or anything that is bulky. Which screen protector will keep my screen from cracking? Also, when it comes to buying a case, what type of material would offer the most extra protection? (gel, silicone, rubber, etc.)
