Will I be charged for turning on my iPhone 6's wireless hotspot feature?
I have a verizon shared data plan (10 GB/ month) and I recently learned that some plans from various carriers include a charge for using a phone as a wireless hotspot. I didn't know this and would often turn it on, assuming that it would simply use some of the allotted data for the month. My phone didn't warn me in any way that there would be an extra fee. Now I'm worried that I was being charged $10-20 extra in each month I used it. I've searched for info but it can be very vague and confusing. Does Verizon charge for this feature in a shared data plan like mine?
No, Verizon doesn't charge extra, other than the data you use.
- Will I receive data charges for using the hotspot feature on my iphone? I would like to use the internet on my laptop during a road trip. Can I connect to the internet using an Apple iPhone 4? If I do so, will I receive data charges on my iPhone or will this use up my monthly allowed data as per my monthly data plan?
- Will I be charged for sharing my internet connection via the personal hotspot on my iPhone? If I wanted to let someone use the Wi-Fi by turning on the personal hotspot on my phone will I be charged?
- Will I be charged extra if I use personal hotspot on my iphone 4s? (T-mobile)? I have unlimited data. I've looked online, but can't find a definite answer. If I will be charged extra, will I be charged a certain amount per day/week?
- Why is my iPhone 5 turning off and not turning back on? This has happened twice now. My iPhone 5 has turned off in the middle of the night with a full charge and off the charger, and when I try to turn it back on it takes a couple tries. Has anybody experienced this?
