Will I get charged for another activation fee?
I Accidently reset all the settings on my iphone and when it finally booted up it told me "waiting for activation" 2-3 minutes later "activation complete" I was wondering if I'm going to get charged another activation fee. (I have Verizon wireless)
No you won't be charged an activation fee again.
- Will my iPhone 4 ask for another activation if I update to iOS 7? Recently, my dad gave me his SIM-locked iPhone 4 because he had a new one. I inserted my SIM of the same network provider and it functioned well. When I did a full reset of the phone (which was iOS 6.1.3), it asked me for activation, so I had to borrow my dad's SIM. Now my phone's activated and is again functioning well. If I update to iOS 7 after its official release, will it again ask me for another activation? I don't really want to give another problem to my dad.
- Will I have to pay a fee to get my iPhone 5 lock button fixed? My one year warranty ends in November but I have a little crack in between my flash and camera. It's right where my mic is but honesty it doesn't really affect anything on my phone. My main concern is my lock button. If I can't get a completely new product like some of my friends have gotten, can I just pay for the lock button portion? It said that it could repair that specific piece possibly. If so, how much is it usually?
- Will i be charged if someone texts me from another country? My friend took a day trip to Canada yesterday (we live in the us) and was texting me the whole day. She said that since we both had iphones and were using iMessage that we wouldnt be charged, but she had Wi-Fi for a couple hours and while she was using the Wi-Fi she got charged for roaming since she wasn't using 3G. Will i be charged as well? It was in a group chat with two other girls as well and they are also worried. We're all on Verizon 3G plans
- Will I be charged an activation fee? I grounded my daughter off her iPhone and she still has her old iPhone (it broke and we bought her a new one). She activated it and it still has service. Will I be charged an activation fee since she turned her old one on?
