Will I get charged for calling 911?
I know this has been questioned multiple times but I've seen none of them fits my situation.
Looking for serious answers please. I'm really panicking right now as I've heard people say that you get charged $300+.
I've been trying to get into my iPhone but someone has put a passcode to it. I was looking online if there's some way to bypass it, but I admit, it was dumb of me to believe some of these ways.
There was one that instructed to call "112" and immediately cancel that call. I honestly didn't know that it enroutes to "911." So I followed the instructions, but what I didn't know was that it didn't fully cancel that call. I didn't realize that until an unknown number called me back saying I called "911".
From here on out, I was on panic mode. I immediately said, "Sorry I was trying to call 112." which is not entirely true nor false. Everything was an accident, but I never got to fully explain myself because I was panicking; this is a first for me. The lady on the other line said if there was an emergency, I said no. So she got my number and name.
Will I get billed on this 'accidental' call?
Possibly, if you wasted their time then they can bill you for it. Its common sense that you don't call it unless its a real emergency.
If they came to your house you might get charged a fine if not you are good

1. If your iPhone is locked, you can't dial ANYTHING.
2. Dialing 112 DOES NOT route you to 911.
3. Whoever called you claiming you called 911 was lying.

When she calls me i don't get charged but will i get charged for calling her? PART:2 If i download the magicjack app in the app store can i call her with out getting charged from at&t? - Will data be charged for texting and calling outside the country to another iphone? My girlfriend is going to costa rica for the summer and i need to know will me calling and texting her use up my date. It would be facetime audio and imessage only. Also i have att if that matters.
- What should I do if I called 911? Last night I was with friends and my phone must've turned rebooted. My SIM card is locked so upon starting up the phone will ask for a four digit password you can also choose to dial SOS. Just now I looked at my recent calls and saw that I had called 911 last night without my knowledge. The call was placed around 2:30 and it lasted about 34 seconds. Anything I should do. My cell phone carrier is AT&T and I broke my iPhone so I know use a trac phone with my iPhone SIM card. Any advice!
