Will I loose my warranty if I get my iphone repaired?

I need to get my iphone repaired because I got water damage to it but I don't have insurance. If I get it repaired by a non apple company will I loose my 1year warranty?

Yup. Did you ever think of putting a case around it, like a Lifeproof?

If the company is an Apple Authorized Service Provider, it will not void your warranty. Ask the repair shop if they are authorized but they usually have signs in their windows or inside the shop.

If they are not an authorized service provider, you will void your warranty. Any service performed on an Apple device by yourself or a service or technician not authorized by Apple within the warranty timeframe will void your warranty.

just like a car warranty, wireless warranty ONLY covers factory defects… If you EVER damage the car/phone, warranty is VOID… No IFs ANDs or BUTs…

That is where car and wireless insurance comes into play… Insurance covers ANYTHING, after you pay a deduectable…

In your case, you have no insurance case you never got it… Umm. Well… Sorry… No cheap fix for you…

So. Anyway… Get it repaired by a 3rd party Mr. Fix It, do it yourself fix kit, throw it in the trash, pop it in the microwave… I don't care… Your warranty is ALREADY void!
