Will i lose space updating to iOS 11?
I currently have 4.1 gb on m y iphone se how does updating work with storage on iphones, cause currently i have 9.3.3 still from when i got the phone in may, how much space will i lose or something?
It will replace the previous version storage so no harm done. Out with the old in with the new
Whatever the end difference between iOS 11 & 9.3.3 is.
Say iOS 11 was 2300MB (2.3GB) & iOS 9.3.3 was 2000MB (2GB) then you'd lose 300MB (.3GB) when its done.
- Will updating my iPhone software use more space? I currently run on 7.0.4 and I could be running 8.4. I missed a few updates because I only use my phone for music. I have every megabyte devoted to music and I don't really see the point in downloading more software if it is going to take up valuable space on my phone. Would updating my software actually use more space, or would the new updates cause the software to become more compact? Some people tell me that the new software is significantly smaller but I seriously doubt it.
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- Will updating from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 remove everything? I know that if you 'Majorly' update your iPhone it will erase everything from your iPhone like updating ios 4 to ios 6, but what if you are just updating your iPhone from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 on the same version, is there any difference or it will also remove everything?
- Will I lose my apps and music if I update to iOS 7 from a jailbroken iOS 6.1.2? I have a jailbroken iOS 6.1.2 (iPhone 4S) and I'm just wondering if I will lose my messages, apps, music and photos etc if I update to iOS 7 from the jailbreak? Thanks. * I know my jailbreak will be gone if i do so. Thanks in advance. Also ; will i lose my whatsapp messages if i update to iOS 7 from my jailbroken iOS 6.1.2 phone?
