Will ios 8 apps work on iphone 4?
The ios 8 is coming soon… And my iphone 4 is not getting any updates… So i just wanna know if i'll be able to use the new apps on my ios 7 iphone 4
Most apps will be backward compatible for a while. Some of the newest ones will not be. Unless you need to be on the cutting edge, this should not be a major problem for years.
There are no iOS 8 apps yet.
What usually happens is, apps will have a version compatible with any iPhone. This however could mean that app creators will stop supporting lower-tech devices. And by that I mean that new updates of the app may not be compatible, but certain apps deigned for iOS 8 probably will work on the 4, if you can update it to iOS 8.
