Will jailbreaking make my device slow forever?

I want to jailbreak my iphone 4 its a bit slow already but i wanted to know if it would slow my device forever as if i wannt to restore i want it fast again my friends have told me it will stay slow but i don't know someone tell me?

When you jailbreak, it will slow down a bit as there's quite alot of data in a jailbreak. If you want it to be faster just restore it.
I've done this before on multiple models.

I agree with Harry, my experience is also that the jailbreak will slow down the phone.

  • Will my jailbreak on one device transfer to another device via iTunes? So I bought an iPhone 5 today and I'm afraid to sync it to my Apple ID/ iTunes because my 8GB iPod is also synced to that iTunes account and its jailbroken. I don't want my jailbroken iPod to affect my iPhone 5. Will it affect it? I don't think it will but I just want to make sure before I sync it for the first time.
  • Will jailbreaking my iphone 5s make it slow? I'm just going to get jellylock 7 that's all. I'm scare that my phone will break or stop working
  • Will it slow down my iphone 4s device if I update to ios 8.4.1? Iphone 4s, ios 6. Sometimes safari crashes, sometimes apps crashes? I want to update and I think I will, but even if it slows down it won't break or anything will it?

I want to jailbreak my iphone 4 which has ios 7.0.2 at the moment, but i don't want my ipad to be affected because i use the same email to set up both devices… Will it also jailbreak my ipad if i jailbreak my iphone which was set up with the same email as my ipad?
