Will my iPhone 4 lock if I update it to iOS 7?
I bought an iPhone 4 back in January and took it to a store to get it unlocked to run on t mobile, now I wanna update my phone to iOS 7 but don't want to risk locking it.
If the phone was legally unlocked and all paid for, ios7 will be fine.
If your phone is factory unlocked then you will update it any ios version & your phone will be okey. If it is not factory unlocked then your phone will be locked. So you need to know that your phone is factory unlocked or not before updating.
- Will my iphone lock if i update my IOS version? I recently bought an iphone4s from ebay. The seller explained that the phone was originally on At&t carrier ( I'm with T mobile) . He had it unlocked. He also jailbroke it too. What i want to know is, if i update the IOS will my phone lock again, or will it be okay?
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
- New iOS 6 update, find my iPhone update? I don't like the new find my iPhone update is there a way to change back to the old find my iPhone but keep the new update? It's not showing locations like it used to and won't even how me major boroughs like Croydon. Streets are difficult to see, much smaller picture. General *** compared to the older version.
- Is the iOS 6.1 update on iPhone 3 safe to update? On my first iPhone there were problems, and the update didn't help it wiped out everything and among other things had to get a new iPhone. The iPhone I have now works, so should I risk this update? It's a 3GS.
