Will my iphone 4 stay unlocked?

Hi, I jailbroke my iphone 4 ios 6.0.1 with tethered as it is what available right now- meaning I can't reboot the phone normally and have to go through redsnow "just boot" and I unlocked it with ultrasn0w so that I could sell it. Now, if i were to reset it to factory setting, will i lose the unlocked status of the phone? How does that work?

Yes, because you loose the jailbrake, thus the unlock.

Calls and text work fine, but no data, no matter what. Use Wi-Fi in my house, but that's all i can use. I've spent a week doing this over and over and nothing seems to work. Tried dozens of videos online, countless blogs and i followed every, single step x amount of times. Using straight talk right now, should I try T-mobile maybe?
