Will my iPhone 4s have iOS 6 and the new earpods?

I will be getting an iPhone 4s in early November, and I was wondering two things: will it already have iOS 6 on there preloaded, or will I have to download it? Is it worth downloading? Also, will it come with the new Apple earpods, or the older Apple earbuds?

I believe only iPhone 5 comes with the new earbuds.

The iPhone 4S ships with iOS 5 and the old Apple earphones. You will have to download iOS 6 if you want it. I upgraded to iOS 6 and am perfectly happy with it. The Maps application is horrendous, so I use Google Maps in my browser or the MapQuest application (available in the App Store).

I definitely recommend the iPhone 5 if you can afford it.

By November it will come with iOS 6 and may have the new EarPods if the supply of the old style earbuds has been exhausted.

The iphone will come with ios 5.1 and you will have to update it manually and you get the old headphones

i would stick to the iphone 4s because the iphone 5 is a waste of money because all you get is a slightly bigger screen

Doesn't come with iOS 6. You have to download it yourself. And It doesn't come with the new earphones either.

  • Will Will Apple earpods work with iPhone 4? I'm planning to get Apples new earpod headset. A lot of people are complaining that the sound changes by itself while in use of the earpods. Has this happened to you? Also, I want to know if the remote and mic will work with iPhone 4. ALSO i need to know how it works out with running! I like to run and some people say that sweat gets into them and wrecks them. I'm not an extremely sweaty person though.
  • Why won't my earpods work with my iphone 3gs? The audio is great, but neither the volume up/down features or the ones that can switch songs function at all… Why? Is it simply not compatible with the iphone 3gs? Or am i not doing something?
  • Sennheiser better than standard iPhone earpods? I was just wondering if Sennheiser headphones(419/229s specifically) really did sound better than the apple earpods the iPhone 5 comes with. The earpods sound pretty good to me, just wondering if spending the $40 is worth it, I've heard really good things about Sennheiser, but only compared to things like Skullcandy's and Beats. What makes the Sennheisers so great, specifically compared to the earpods.
  • My apple earpods have lost the bass on one side? I accidentally put my apple earpods (newly designed ones that came out with iPhone 5) through the washer/dryer and they're fine, but the only small difference is that the right side has lost about 85%-95% of its bass. Is there something I can do? I'm assuming not, but any advice would be nice.
