Will my iPhone 4s still be unlocked for T-Mobile if I update to ios 7?
A few weeks ago I got an Iphone 4s. I payed 30 dollars for it to be unlocked to T-Mobile.
I realized that ios 7 will be releasing this fall and I fell in love with it, but if I do update to Ios 7, will my sim card for T-mobile on my unlocked phone work or will it be locked and unable to use t-mobile.
If it came factory unlocked, it should still be unlocked.
If it wasn't unlocked by the factory, the lock might reset.
- Mobile data update failed on iPhone8 how to fix this? I tried plugging it into computer to update etc & it didn't work either? I can't call anyone/receive calls or use my mobile data or text anyone from my phone until I get this issue sorted anyone know how to?
- IOS 7 UPDATE: Can I still update my unlocked iPhone? So I went to a friends phone retail store he unlocked my iPhone through a company wich gives u the code to unlock and then he connected it wit Net10 (AT&T). Pretty sure it was a legal unlock MY QUESTION IS: can I still update my iPhone 4S to IOS 7 even though my iPhone is unlocked? Because if I do I'm worried my carrier settings wuld erase and I wouldn't have a line with Net10 any more.
- In the middle of an iPhone update and my iTunes won't recognise my phone in order to continue to update. Can I stop the update now? Neither the computer nor iTunes are recognising my phone and I've been working on his for an hour, I want to stop the update so I can go to bed, how can I do that? It's only at the stage where it has a symbol on the screen of the iPhone cable linking to iTunes
- If I update my illegally unlocked iPhone, will it still function as a phone? My Mom sent an iPhone from the States to the Philippines and made me unlock it illegally. I heard I'm not supposed to update it or it won't work as a phone anymore Is this true?
