Will my photos be deleted from my mac?
I connected my iPhone to my mac for the first time and imported all of my photos. I then disconnected it and turned off photo stream on both devices. My iPhone storage is full so i want to delete my pictures but i still want them on my mac, so if i delete my photos from my iPhone, will the pictures still remain on my mac? And if i connect them again, will the new photos be imported and would the already deleted ones (on my iPhone) be lost?
Yes they would be on the Mac & plugging it in again would give the option to import the new ones taken since. The old imported ones wouldn't be affected.
- Is it normal for all photos to sync to Mac, even deleted ones? When I sync my iphone to my Mac, all the photos sync, even the ones i deleted on my phone. These deleted photos are supposed to be gone permanently, they aren't even in recently deleted, I always keep my recently deleted photo album empty. Yet, these deleted photos show up on my Mac. Is this normal?
- If I delete Photos on my Mac in the Photos app, will it get deleted from my other devices? I have photos in my Photos app on my Macbook that are from my iPhone. If I delete them on my macbook, will it get deleted on my phone too?
- I bought a Mac, how do I get rid of linux and install Mac OS again? I bought this mac second hand. It is an iBook G4, but the people installed linux on it and I would like the OS software on it instead as I have an iPhone and an iPod and iCloud and I would just rather deal with something that I'm familiar with, but I have been looking and I have no idea how to delete it and put what I want on it.
- How to restore deleted photos from the recently deleted folder for an iphone? I had important pictures in my "recently deleted" folder and my sister deleted everything from there. How can I get all of this back? I have iOS 8.1.3.
