Will restoring my iPhone on my iTunes unlock my forgotten passcode?
I put a new passcode on then stupidly forgot it and nkw I can't get in because i'm getting it wrong.
I've read to restore it on the computer which I'm doing now but i'm scared it won't work.
What do I do if it doesn't?
And will it work?
No harm in trying it but if fails then you will have to take it into apple
- IPhone won't restore? Forgotten passcode? I forgot my passcode for my iPhone 4s. I have tried to restore it, but it keeps saying that the phone has a passcode on it and and you need to get rid of it before you can restore it. But because I have forgotten the passcode, I can't do it this way. But when ever I try and do it through DFU mode, the same message still comes up half way through 'extracting files'… Any other ways?
