Will salt in the air ruin my computer?

I'm currently spending a day at the batch with my family and I brought my MacBook Pro w/ retina display, iPad 3, and iPhone 5 to the beach with me. Will the humid, hot, salty air hurt them at all, or am I not going to be here long enough for them to take any damage?

They would be fine if they spent the majority of their time in your pockets or in a case, i think.i've had salty air ruin many devices in my youth.

Its ok. Just make sure no too much SALT WATER or some random sprinkles or splashes gets near or into your phone… Even though its windy everytime at the beach, it would not be enough to ruin the motherboard of your phone and rust it to dust…

Unless you are staying at the beach shoreline for more that 4 years or so.

  • Will updating Iphone 3GS to ioS 6.0 ruin screw up my jailbreak? I don't know how to ask this… Sorry if my wording makes no sense. I have an Iphone 3GS, and I want to update it iOs 6.0, but won't that take the jailbreak or whatever off? And I will have to jailbreak it again?
  • Will my cheap iPhone charger from Amazon ruin my phone? I just got an iPhone charger that wasn't apple brand on Amazon for cheap. People are telling me that it isn't going to work or it will eventually start to ruin my phone. I just recently got an iPhone 5 too so I have no interest in having to buy a new one because the charger is going to ruin it. Will the things people keep telling me really happen?
  • Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
