Will software update on my iphone delete my texts?
So yea ios7 comes out tomorrow & i always update my software in my phone's settings & i just want to know if updating will delete my text messages.
No it will not, it saves everything. It even transfers texts from an iTunes backup if your phone breaks and you get a replacement. Just make sure before you install iOS 7 you perform a full backup. I have done and it worked fine from iOS 5 to iOS 6. I have no reason to suspect that they have changed anything since then.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.
- Just lost my texts and now i can't send texts? I'm on a tarrif where i get unlimited text 150 mins and 250mb of data (Vodafone) and i was texting my mother and all of a sudden my texts wouldnt send and then my network went it came up no service on my phone ( i'm using an iphone 3gs i don't care about what phone i have as long as i have one lol ) then my network came back on and i have my internet and my calls but don't have my texts can anyone help me to sort this out
- Is there a way(without computer)to move my texts from my iPad to my IPhone? ICloud backup? Had to restore phone to last backup and lost texts? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- Is ''Iphone'' software only or hardware and software? I've never had an Iphone. I always see it anounced in an absolutely black device, such as this one: http://pective.com/m/iphone-5 I wonder whether, when you're going to buy one, you go to the apple store and buy the whole thing, or look for a Nokia or Sony smartphone and then go to the Apple website and buy and download the software into your device.
