Will the iOS7 for iPhone 4s will work for iPhone 4?

I want to get siri on my iPhone 4 with iOS 7. If I'll install the iOS 7 for iPhone 4s on my iPhone 4 will it work?

There won't be Siri on iPhone 4, unless you jailbreak and tweak it. This is cos the A4 Soc can't handle Siri and will lag pretty badly

What do you mean iOS 7 for iPhone 4S? I thought it was for all the latest iPhones: 4, 4s, 5, 5s, 5c. There's nothing you can do if you want Siri on your iPhone 4. If you updated to iOS 7, there won't be Siri. Siri is for the "upperclass" iPhones.

You can't install a version of iOS intended for another iPhone.

I was wondering if I update it to the ios7, will my phone still function the same as before, or would it get rid of the unlock feature and no longer work with tmobile?

  • Why doesn't FaceTime work with new IOS7? I got the update earlier for my iPhone5, and just now updated my backup iPhone4. Now, FaceTime won't work on the 5, and it just tells me to check my internet connection even after restarting both phones, and singing out of iTunes on the 4. I tried it like 20 times. Do I have to wipe my iPhone 5 and go through the setup crap again to make it the designated phone? Cus if it gets screwed up somehow, I won't be able to use FaceTime on the 4…
