Will the ios7 update have the fingerprint recognition for the iphone 5?
I just wanted to know if the iphone 5 will get the fingerprint recognition in the ios7 update or if its just for the new 5s.
No it won't, the iphone 5s has a dedicated finger print sensor, which isn't on the screen, but on the home button itself, that's why they removed the square on the home button because it would get in the way of the finger print sensor, so sorry, it won't, to make it easier to understand, a finger print sensor is like a small but super high quality camera, that can that can make high definition image of your fingerprint to identify the smallest detail of the finger print, if its not so high quality it would maybe unlock the device for people who have a similar finger print to yours, i think that you thought the iphone 5s uses finger print by screen, but no, it uses the home button, the screen doesn't even have the small camera i talked about.

- Should I update my iTunes even though i still have iOS7? I have an iPhone 4 so I can't get iOS8. Will the defender otterbox allow this or will it cover it up or something to where this is no longer an option. - Is face recognition the only way to unlock the iPhone X? I've been trying to find the answer, and can't find it. Obviously it isn't out yet, but you know how the 7 and 6 you can do touch ID or still use a number code? Do you think you can still do that with the X?
