Will the iPhone 5 go on sale?
When the 5s came out, I expected the 5 to go on sale, but it hasn't! Will it ever be cheaper? It's $50 more in stores than it was on the Apple site.
Added (1). The iPhone 5 IS in STORES for $799 for a 32 gb model. Will THIS price ever go down?
The iPhone 5 will not be sold anymore. They are only selling the iPhone 4S that's free. IPhone 5C $99 for 16GB (iPhone 5 internals with a plastic casing in multiple colors) then iPhone 5S starting at $199. Only way to buy an iPhone 5 is on like amazon or ebay which would be risky with a possibility of a fake.
5 is going away, 4S, 5C, 5S only… 4S is now free on 2 year contract
The other users are right - while there may be some 5's still on sale, they are not producing them anymore, so when they're gone, that's it. Because of this, they probably won't go down in price, because people (like you) still want to buy them, and some people are still willing to pay the original price.
