Will they ever make a Pokemon game for iphone/android? E?
So mobile games have gotten pretty damn good like Infinity blade all those so why hasn't Nintendo released gameboy games like Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, or gold? I meant I'm sure iOS can handle them pretty well or even make it possible to battle other people online I'm sure they'd make a shitload of money.
Nintendo, in many, many interviews, has been adamant about not diving into the mobile gaming space or allowing their properties on other systems (ignoring the nasty Philips CD-i incident in the 90s).
That being said, there's a Pokemon game for mobile devices, and it's even made by Gamefreak (though it's only in Japanese). Its called "Pokemon Say Tap? BW", though it has nothing in common with the main games.
Unless something drastic happens, Nintendo currently has no public plans to re-release any Pokemon games for any mobile device. You have to remember, mobile devices are direct competitors for Nintendo in the handheld gaming space for the very fact you mentioned (namely that mobile games are becoming very good, graphically at least), and Nintendo, as is true with any company, would not want to give competitors an edge against their own technology, namely the 3DS at the moment.
I was was also having the same question. I think so that Nintendo do not want to loss their popularity of games so that is why they are not realising the gameboy games like Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, or gold games.

Probably not but for android you can download a gameboy emulator and play it that way like me.

- Which pokemon game for the gameboy advance is your favorite? I just got a gameboy emulator for my iphone so I'm going to go back and play one of the old pokemon games. Right now I think it's between Fire Red and Emerald. I've beaten fire red already but that was a long time ago and I had so much fun on it. It has multiple endings, branching storyline, and a few rpg elements. I want to make a game similar to Surviving High School but not to a degree of completely stealing their concept. Can you help me find the tools and point me in the right direction? I have no coding skills but i'm willing to learn if the program comes with any readable materials.
