Will unlocking my iPhone erase my songs etc?
Hi. Switching my iPhone to another network and I need to unlock it first, will doing so erase all the music I already have, plus all my apps and stuff? Ideally I'd like my iPhone to stay exactly the same just with a new carrier. If this won't happen can someone please tell me what to do to get it that way? Right now it has none if that matters. Also it's an iPhone 4.
Just do a backup first in iTunes and you will be fine
- When unlocking an iPhone 4S does it delete all the pics, messages etc? Okay so I'm thinking of getting my iPhone unlocked from Vodafone to 3, but will it delete all my photos, messages, etc?
- What will erase and sync erase on my iphone? I wanted to connect my iphone to a new computer but it says erase and sync, what will it erase? All of the contents or just music?
- Need to add new songs to iphone without deleting old songs So my old computer crashed and with that i lost all my music that was downloaded to itunes, so i only have those songs saved to my iphone now i just spent $25 on my computer downloading music, but when i went to download it onto my phone it said it didn't match up with this computer and that in order to sync new songs it would delete my entire music library on my phone! I really don't want to lose all my music but i also want my new songs on my phone!
- If I erase and sync my iPhone 4 in the music library, will it erase my photos? I'm trying to add music to my iPhone 4 and when I go to sync just the music, it says 'erase and sync'. Will it delete my photos? If so, can I right click my iPhone and back it up so if it does delete my photos, I can just back it up?
