Will updating my iPhone 4 (not 4s) to iOS 6 wipe out my whole phone?
I read online when you update to iOS 6 its deletes eveything and I don't want it to will it? If it is I'm keeping it to iOS 5
I already updatedit, and no it doesn't wipe out your phone, so your ok to update it. There are some changes that you need on the iphone 4 when you update. You should update it helps!
No! Just log into your iTunes account on your computer and select the option to back up your iPhone to the iCloud, download ios6 and select the option to restore with backup.
No, it does not wipe out your phone. I updated it myself and everything is still there.
If you can update it, why they sell iPhone 5?
- Would resetting an iPhone wipe out everything on my YouTube acct? I had to reset iPhone to factory settings. When I went to YouTube I was of course logged out but everything is erased when I logged in. All my favorites and my subscriptions and history. How can a reset affect what's in the account?
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- Will updating an iPhone 5 wipe it out? I want to update my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 when it comes out, and I don't have enough space in my computer to back it up. Will updating it wipe out it's contents, like apps and stuff?
- Will iTunes wipe out my iPhone data if it wants to Set as New iPhone? I've owned an iPhone 5s for over a year, it's currently running iOS 10.3.3 but I've just connected to iTunes for the first time however I only get 2 options, either "Set it up as new iPhone" or "Restore from an old backup", but that last backup is from 2015. So, if if I select "As New iPhone" will it wipe out my data?
