Will updating my iphone 4s iOS erase my apps?
I have an update available to a version 6 for my iPhone 4s, I have the memory space needed but I'm afraid i might lose my apps and the data that is with em. Will it erase my apps? Or will they be there when the update finishes?

Nothing will change. It's just updating your software. However there have been cases of it deleting some contacts and data but it's a rare occurrence.

Everything will still be there as you left it when the update is finished. Leave it alone until it has finished updating fully. People tend to lose stuff when they interrupt the process before it has had a chance to complete the update.
Updating the software on your iPod, iphone, or iTunes do not mess with whatever files are on your devices. The only way this can happen is by syncing, or deleting or unplugging your iphone while its updating.
