Will updating to iOS 9 remove gevy unlock from iPhone 5?
I've already upgraded straight from iOS 7 to iOS 8.3, preserving my unlock.
Carrier O2 19.0
Modem firmware: 8.01.00
R-sim 9 pro.
IOS 9 is currently in Developer Beta and Pubilc Beta. As the Pubilc beta is very new, there are many bugs, many apps do not work and you can't use Apple Watch or Apple Pay in the UK with iOS 9. Personally it is not worth the effort - you may as well wait until you can get the official version that has been improved and tested.
Yes it will.
- Will updating the iOS remove the unlock? I have the iPhone 4 on tmobile and want to get ios 6. And I was wondering if my sim card will still work after the update?
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- Will updating my iphone 4 to ios 6 will disable its carrier unlock? My Iphone 4 is currently running on ios 4.3.3 and I wish to update it to the new os (the ios 6), but don't want to lose its carrier unlock. I don't actually know if its an official factory unlock or what but what I know is that the Iphone is not jailbreaked (So If I assume right, Is it really a factory unlock and won't be affected by any update?). Please give the answers not involving a jailbreak.
- Will updating from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 remove everything? I know that if you 'Majorly' update your iPhone it will erase everything from your iPhone like updating ios 4 to ios 6, but what if you are just updating your iPhone from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 on the same version, is there any difference or it will also remove everything?
