Will Verizon give me a free sim card for the iPhone 5?
I ordered it online yesterday and the unlocked phone did not come with a sim card. If i take it to Verizon and show them the receipt should they give me a FREE sim card?
Verizon phones don't use SIM cards and they are not locked. You don't lock CDMA devices.
If you bought an iPhone for use with Verizon that has a SIM slot (I believe the 4S and the 5 have this), that slot is used for *global* SIM cards for GSM service outside the United States. That SIM slot will not work with any US carrier (such as T-Mobile and AT&T).
Verizon, Sprint and other CDMA companies do not use SIM cards. The phone is activated directly on the network by the carrier.
- Will T-Mobile give me a micro SIM card for free? I just bought a factory unlocked iPhone 4S. My old SIM card won't work with it so I need a micro sim. I was going to go to the T-Mobile store this weekend and I need to know if they would charge me for the micro SIM card.
- Will sprint give me a free Sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 5c for sprint but it doesn't come with a Sim card does anyone know if sprint will give me one for free if not can anyone tell me where I can order one?
- Will any Verizon SIM card work in an Verizon iPhone 4S? I had recently acquired an iPhone 4S from an old friend. I was wondering if I could buy a cheap Verizon phone with a pay as you go plan, and remove the SIM from the cheap phone, cut it down to a Micro-SIM, and place it in my new iPhone.
- My iPhone 5s carrier is Verizon but my Verizon SIM Card won't work? I bought an SIM Card off of Amazon but it still doesn't work? It says it's invalid and that it's not the right carrier. I bought it off Craigslist but I have all the info, even the date that the phone was purchased.
